Clear and Credible is founded on integrity: a desire to share information in an inclusive way, helping brands to build trust and credibility with their customers. I believe that everyone should have access to the information that they need, in a way that they understand. The aim is to help you to become the most trusted thought leader in your space, using transparent and engaging copy and content to resolve your readers’ queries.
Why I established Clear and Credible
When I worked in the third sector as a housing lawyer, I realised how crucial it was to be able to distil complex information. When people are at their lowest ebb: homeless, or about to lose their home, they’re not thinking rationally. They also rarely have any understanding of the legal system. I learned very quickly that I needed to really spell out what people needed to know, as clearly and as concisely as possible.
Working in a busy local government legal department was also a real eye-opener. One minute you’re dealing with a customer complaint, the next you’re knee deep in a corporate project with external stakeholders. What’s important though, is the need to adapt the message to the audience and to do it with integrity.
Writing has always been my ‘thing’: giving a voice to an idea, advocating for people who can’t easily stand up for themselves, selling an idea or a solution, speaking with integrity. It’s what makes me tick. It’s imperative too for brands and organisations to build trust and credibility with prospects and customers and that’s where Clear and Credible can help.
